Mobile Muster Old Phones More Trees School Challenge
The challenge is simple – muster up old and disused mobile phones to celebrate and support World Environment Day (Thurs 5th June). For every mobile phone collected, one tree will be planted by Landcare Australia.
Did you know?
Recycling and reusing the metals and plastics found in mobile phones avoids a staggering 90% of the greenhouse gases produced by mining and refining the same metals from ore and the production of virgin plastics. Watch this video for more information.

Maria, that is awesome that they are actually planting a tree for every old phone collected. There are tons of old phones that people just have laying around and they could make a huge difference by just getting rid of a phone that is just sitting in their house.
