Brooke’s News Report – Lost Fossicker Ate BUGS to Survive!
Theo Rosmolder, 52 years of age from Victoria, was lost for four days in Western Australia’s goldfield region and was found ‘eating bugs’ to survive. Theo was searching for gold with his wife and four other people in the desert scrubland. when he failed to return to the group, they began searching and then raised the alarm with police that night.
Theo had no food, water, matches or globasl positioning system on him, the police said. He was found by two Aboriginal trackers. Sergeant Graham Clifford, of Perth police, said Theo had survived by eating insects and termites during his four days in the bush.
