Soccer Fans Challenge

On the Megs Morrison Fan Club website you will be able to enter a competition running until the 7th October. On the website you will be able to join the Fan Club see photos of Mark Schwarzer, go into a games room for kids play soccer smash or take a soccer quiz. You can also enter a competition where you will need to email ‘your story’ – telling about your background, about playing soccer, when you started, and why football. There is also an interview with Mark Schwarzer that you can read.

Science and Technology Assignment

Task: You have to research and present a practical science experiment to the class. You can choose any experiment you wish as long as it has a scientific purpose. You will also need to have an excellent understanding of your experiment so you can present it and clearly explain it to the students in the class. You will be also required to fill in an experiment sheet that explains your experiment in detail. Everybody will be given a mark out of 30 for this assignment. You will be awarded a mark out of 10 for each of the following:-

1.   The experiment itself.

2.   The presentation.

3.   The experiment sheet.

The Experiment Sheet needs to include the following points

Experiment Steps:

Illustrations:

Experiment Findings:

The experiments are due Monday 27th October 2008, all experiments are due on the date (No extensions). Presentations will take place during Weeks 3. Failure to hand your assignment in on the due date (Week 3 2008) will result in 0 marks.

There are lots of sites on the internet to give you ideas. But remember it is your work I want to see. If you find a great site with lots of ideas put the link in the comments section and I will share the link with everyone.

Vietnamese Chicken Rice Paper Rolls

Today we made lots of Vietnamese rice paper rolls. The preparation was wonderful, everyone did a fantastic job and they tasted scrumptious.

Anyone who would like to write a procedural recount of our experience today and leave it in the comments I will select one or two to publish as a post which will go with the movie of how to make a Vietnamese Spring Roll.
