The biggest and most major difference between Christians and Muslims is that Christians believe that Jesus was the Son of God but the Muslims think otherwise, they believe that he was just a prophet.

While they both believe in the original bible, the Old Testament, Christians believe that it is a holy document and everything in it is true. On the other hand, Muslims don’t believe that it is all true, and they also call their god Allah.

Symbols are signs that represent somthing.

I think symbols are important in religion because they show which religion is which and shows about religions beleifs and they represent important things in each religion like in christianity the sign of the cross is important because it tell us about how Jesus died on the cross for each and everyone of us.

A ceremony is a special time or thing that happens on a speacial occasion that most of the time is a religious event like baptism or lent.

I think people use ceremonys in a religious way because ceremonys like christmas and easter are about Jesus being born and Jesus rising from death and opening the gates of heaven, and most ceremonys and events are religious because people like preists make them happen during the religious times because they want to celebrate about these thing that happened!!! =)

Christianity and Islam
There are many similarities between these two religions.

Similarities: The worshipers only worship one god.

Differences: They have different holy books, Islam has the Qur’an and cristians have the bible. They have different places of worship, they have different leaders, have different celebrations and muslims even look different.

Although Muslims believe in one God, as do Christians, they reject as heresy that this one God is three people. When God is described in Islam the emphasis is on strength, majesty and power. In contrast the Christian God is often depicted in intimate terms as a father, shepard or even husband. Grace in Islam is earned, in Christianity it is given. Although Islam teaches that Jesus was a prophet, Muslams do not believe that he was The Son Of God, that he is divine or part of a trinue God.
